At the «oti agapo» kindergarten, each day offers the «Eleftheri» (=free) group the opportunity to explore the world through educational activities that enhance their learning and development.
Our primary goal is the holistic development of children, fostering a positive attitude, skills, and abilities that will support them both at school and in life. Our program follows the official curriculum of the Ministry of Education, adapted to the needs and interests of the children, as well as to their natural, social, and cultural environment.
At the «oti agapo» kindergarten, our educational approach is based on thematic units and skill workshops, ensuring a complete and enriched learning experience for children. Through activities covering a wide range of subjects—such as Language, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Environmental Studies, Physical Education, Visual Arts, Music, Drama, Technology, and English—we aim to help children develop their abilities in the best possible way.
This multidimensional approach and the variety of educational experiences allow children to explore, experiment, and enhance their skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
We utilize a wide range of learning tools and materials that enhance the educational experience. Through literature, poetry, mythology, storytelling, and the exploration of traditional tales, children develop their language skills and understanding of cultural values.
Dramatization, puppet theatre, arts, and visual creations encourage active participation and self-expression. Board games and chess help develop social skills and strategic thinking while promoting cooperation and fun.
We also employ audiovisual tools and technologies that support learning and the development of digital skills. Our STE(A)M approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and hands-on experiments foster imagination and scientific thinking, giving children the opportunity to explore the world around them through experiential learning.

Each week, children borrow books, read them at home, and return them in their special book bags. They complete activities based on the books they have read, enhancing comprehension and their connection to the story.

Physical activity is an integral part of the school’s weekly program, contributing to the children’s psychomotor development while providing both physical and psychological benefits. In the fully equipped, modern gymnasium “Filia,” the children have the opportunity to experience a variety of sports and learn through movement.
Physical education forms the foundation for a child’s overall development, enhancing motor skills, socialization, and self-esteem. Children learn the importance of cooperation, respect, and fair play through games and sports activities. At «oti agapo», athletic culture is a core pillar of education, and we encourage physical activity as a means to promote both the physical and mental well-being of our students.
The music-education program “AGAPI” combines music, language, and creative expression, forming the core of our daily educational activities. It nurtures the children’s socio-emotional development by helping them build emotional intelligence, self-confidence, and the ability to express themselves imaginatively and freely. Through songs, readings, and music-based activities, children explore emotions and learn to communicate them effectively.
The group of «Eleftheri», accompanied by the little bird Eleftheria, eagerly prepares for the transition to primary school. They learn to embrace new challenges with optimism, viewing the future as full of opportunities and enriching experiences.
This program provides a joyful and creative learning experience, where the freedom given to the children guides them to develop into independent and emotionally resilient individuals.
Caring for and respecting both the natural and human-made world, and fostering environmental awareness and responsibility, are fundamental values at our school.
Through hands-on activities such as tree planting, nature-cleanup events, and creating school gardens, children are given the opportunity to engage directly with the natural environment. The «Eleftheri» have the opportunity to explore the exciting world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), with a special focus on robotics and technology. The term educational robotics refers to the teaching practice where educators use robots as tools to introduce scientific and technological concepts.

Meals are served in a comfortable and welcoming dining area, providing children with opportunities for socialization and safety during mealtimes.

As part of our annual planning, we organize regular parent meetings to discuss key developmental topics and the needs of the children. Additionally, we provide daily updates via our app regarding meals, sleep, daily activities, and any other relevant information.

The classrooms at our kindergarten are located in our central building and are fully autonomous, equipped with all the necessary infrastructure to ensure the comfort and safety of the children. The facilities include a kitchen and dining area, restrooms, a library, an art room, outdoor spaces, a gymnasium, and special corners for various activities.
Our spaces are bright and decorated with lively, cheerful colors, designed to create a sense of calm, warmth, and security, while encouraging creativity and joy in the children.
