Our school, honoring your continued confidence, further enhances its offering to children – and – subsequently parents, by integrating also lunch to our daily program!
- We ensure children enjoy a balanced, nutritious and delicious lunch, prepared by an experienced chef, and which is consistent with the instructions of a qualified dietitian. Purpose is the proper development of children, especially in sensitive age they are now. In combination with physical exercise / activity that “oti agapo” promotes, we believe that we are putting the foundations to realize our ” a healthy mind in a healthy body ” principle.
- We believe that mealtime is a pleasant and social process which develops children’s manners, their social and communication skills. Teaches children the value of proper nutrition and slows children to try and to appreciate different flavors.
- All meals are cooked in our well equipped kitchen, so it does not need to be transported under questionable sanitary conditions of transport and we follow to the letter (if not surpass) the hygiene and nutrition requirements of the ministries of Health and Education.
- We cooperate and find solutions, together with parents, in case a child has special dietary needs
- We have winter and summer menu, so we can use the freshest seasonal ingredients and rotate often so our menu doesn’t become boring.
- All children who are in the care of “oti agapo” enjoy only the freshest ingredients, carefully selected on a daily basis and cooked with the least possible amount of salt, sugar and spices.
